Winter Wonderland

Winter arrived with a real 'flurry' this year! It started snowing on Nov. 9 and didn't stop until late in the day on Nov. 11. We got at least a couple of feet of snow and the piles from clearing the patio, decks and driveway are almost insurmountable. Katie is LOVING it! She gets a thrill from scrambling up the snow piles and sliding down like a penguin (head first on her stomach). Jacob thinks it looks neat-o but he is really struggling getting around in deep snow with short legs! Fortunately, he loves to ride in the toboggan, so I get my exercise pulling him around and up and down snow piles. Yesterday, we woke up to fog and hoar frost on the trees. It was a very pretty walk to school!
