While I was putting Jacob down for his nap today, Katie got herself ready for her nap, read a book to Teddy, got under her covers, and chatted with her toys until I got there. What a nice moment. Then we had this conversation:
K: Grandma got me this shirt.
S: Yes, she did. Grandma has good taste!
K: (laughs) She's a good cook.
S: (laughing to myself about my 'taste' comment and Katie's 'cook' comment)
K: Jacob's little. I'm little too.
S: You're also big.
K: Yeah, and you're big too (holds hands wide, thanks kid). And you're a good cooker.
S: Thank you Katie.
K: And I'm good at painting. And jumping. And climbing. And somersaults....
The list went on but I can't remember all of it. She cracks me up!
